to a small workshop.

Halo was founded in 2019 by Inês Marques, a former pharmacist who got tired of formulating for brands that wouldn't let her leave anything out. Eight years later, we still operate from one small workshop in Bairro Alto, with four people, two batch tanks, and a list of ingredients short enough to fit on the back of a postcard.
We don't run promotions, don't pay for influencers, and don't make a tenth of what we'd make if we did. Halo grew, slowly, on the back of customers who told their friends. That's the only marketing we trust.
