Maison Noir was opened in 2019 by chef Étienne Caron and partner Avi Shah — a quiet rebellion against twenty-six dollar small plates. Upstairs you'll find an open hearth, a copper bar, and a menu built around fire, butter, and patience. Downstairs, an intimate sixty-seat lounge with hand-built sound and a record library three decades deep.
